About
I am an assistant professor of philosophy. My research lies primarily at the intersection of bioethics and political philosophy. In particular, I am interested in relational egalitarian approaches to justice in health care. For instance, I explore the justice-relevant demands of societies to identify and eliminate morally objectionable racial health disparities.
I received my PH.D. from Vanderbilt University. Before coming to Loyola, I was the Edmond J. Safra/Center for Bioethics Joint Fellow-in-Residence at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School.
